Dr. Paras was born in the Philippines and moved to the US at a very young age. She grew up in St. Louis, and attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate work to earn her B.A. in Biology. She attended dental school at Northwestern University in Chicago, where she earned her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 1999. She practiced dentistry in St. Louis until 2001, when she moved to the Northeast. Dr. Paras recognizes that dentistry is continually advancing, and she consistently continues her education and attends seminars so she can stay current on the rapid innovations in the field. As an active member of the dental community, she belongs to the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Greater Norwalk Dental Society.
Dr. Paras is married and has three children. As a mother, she understands parents’ concerns about their children’s health and she offers compassionate, thorough dental treatment to families. As a dentist, she believes in partnering with her patients to help them make informed decisions regarding dental health.
